Kim Betts
Senior Solicitor
Kim Betts qualified as a solicitor in 1987. Her training contract was with a City firm of solicitors and she has experience of several other firms of solicitors in and around London before starting her own practice. Kim Betts has been undertaking conveyancing Wills Probate and Powers of Attorney work during her training contract and ever since and so has over 30 years experience. The practice will have been located in Loughton High Street for 25 years in 2025.
Shabnam Sinha
Solicitor
Shabnam qualified in 2005 and worked for other firms of solicitors after she qualified. She ran her own practice for several years before joining Kim Betts & Co in 2022. She now specialises in Probate since joining Kim Betts & Co. She also undertakes Wills and Powers of Attorney work.

Probate
Probate is the legal process whereby a will is “proved” in a court and accepted as a valid public document that is the true last testament of the deceased.
Powers of Attorney
A written document in which one person appoints another person to act as an agent on his or her behalf, thus conferring authority on the agent to perform certain acts or functions on behalf of the principal.
Wills
Document in which a person specifies the method to be applied in the management and distribution of his estate after his death.
